Gifted Intelligence (IQ) Assessment
This test is recommended for children who demonstrate high ability to reason, and rapid rate of learning. These children are often referred for gifted testing because they seem to possess superior intellectual development, meaning they would likely benefit from a more challenging academic environment that would help them fulfill their potential. Typically, a full-scale IQ of two standard deviations above the mean (IQ=130) classifies a student as gifted and qualifies for gifted placement. The process of IQ testing consists of the following:
Intake interview
45 minutes virtual
This takes place with the parent or caregiver that addresses the child’s learning style, and educational history.
Standardized Intelligence test
60-90 minutes in person
Feedback session
During this session you’ll receive verbal feedback of the results immediately after completion of testing. A written report is also provided within one week after testing.
